Barber Shop
Gent’s Salon | Mainland Dubai
The interior concept draws from industrial aesthetics—exposed brick textures, dark concrete finishes, black metal mesh, and brushed steel elements—all balanced with warm lighting and curated decor. A distinctive feature of the identity is the integration of playful vintage artwork and oversized tools as design accents, reinforcing the salon’s personality while elevating the user experience. The palette champions rugged authenticity: charcoal blacks, concrete greys, weathered metals, and textured surfaces are combined to create a space that feels urban, bold, and confidently refined. Inspired by the old-school, vintage, and powerful character of straight razors and shaving tools, this salon concept draws directly from their craftsmanship and precision. The tools, though simple, are durable and lasting, symbolizing strength, mastery, and careful attention to detail. From the rough brick, charcoal, and concrete surfaces to the metal and leather finishes, every material and texture reflects the raw, rugged, and timeless nature of vintage shaving equipment. Furniture, lighting, and spatial arrangements take cues from the curves and edges of razors and brushes, showing how we can draw inspiration from these objects to create a salon that feels masculine, refined, and enduring. The result is a space that is powerful, purposeful, and lasting, where heritage meets modern design, and precision and craftsmanship guide every detail.
